At the foot of the Björnen lift in Björnänge, you’ll find Bagarstugan Bistro – easy to reach by bike or on foot from Björnen. Take a seat on our spacious veranda, with Renfjället and Åresjön as the backdrop. Arriving by car? Parking is just 75 metres away.

Here we serve well-made food with a character of its own – perfect after a bike ride, a hike, or simply a trip out for a good meal. Flavourful dishes inspired by the mountains, forests and nearby farms, prepared with care in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

We cook the kind of food that feels right after a day outside. Flavours that warm you from within, like the smell of butter in a hot pan or a stock left to simmer. Food that doesn’t need explaining, only enjoying – the kind of food we’d happily take a detour for ourselves.
